Why is the Buy Option in Crypto ETFs closed & when will it open?

Hi Vested Community,

For the past few days, I’ve noticed that the Buy option has been closed on some crypto-ETFs/Trusted Instruments (such as ETH Mini, BITW, LTCN, etc.), while Buy is active on other instruments.

I want to understand:

  1. Is this decision due to the new regulations of the IFSCA/GIFT City regulator?

  2. Is holding or selling existing holdings still allowed?

  3. When will the Buy option reopen? Is there an estimated timeline (e.g., after regulatory approval or compliance)?

  4. Can you provide a complete list of ETFs where Buy is closed and those where Buy is active?

Yes, this was due to a recent decision by the IFSCA regulator. You can continue to hold or sell your existing holdings. We don’t have any estimated timeline on when the option to Buy will re-open, and can only provide the option when there is regulatory approval for the ETFs.
