According to reports, the agreement could eventually be worth around $500 billion over multiple years.

- Long-term supply of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM)
- Joint development of next-generation AI memory
- Large AI data centres expected to begin operating from 2027
- SK Telecom building cloud services powered by Nvidia’s upcoming Vera Rubin platform

Why HBM Matters So Much

Nvidia Is Also Investing Directly in NAVER
Nvidia’s ambitions extend well beyond semiconductors.
The company plans to invest around $1 billion in NAVER, one of South Korea’s largest technology companies.
The investment will support the expansion of NAVER’s GAK Sejong AI data centre, increasing computing capacity from:
- 55 megawatts today
- 200 megawatts by 2028
The expanded facility is expected to deploy Nvidia’s Blackwell and future Vera Rubin AI systems.
Instead of simply selling GPUs, Nvidia will also become a shareholder in the project by purchasing newly issued NAVER shares.
More Than Just Data Centres
Nvidia also announced plans to work with Hyundai Motor Group on autonomous driving technologies and robotics.
This highlights a broader strategy.
