We currently don’t but actively looking at enabling it. Will share more details soon. It’s an important capability esp. given estate tax

From an India standpoint gifting is allowed to relatives without any tax triggers. From a US standpoint there should not be any challenges, we will double check

Eagerly looking for this option. Is there a way we can bump this in priority of the feature list?

Same here, it is criminal to give your hard earned money to uncle Sam after your demise!
As life is unpredictable, it is better to have an option to gift (or transferring) within Vested to your legal heirs during your lifetime!

There is no tax on gift to legal heirs in India or US in this regard.

Hope to see this option soon!

Hey,

We can definitely see how valuable this feature would be for investors.

I’ve shared your interest with the team and added your vote for the feature. While I can’t commit to a timeline, user demand does help us prioritize future improvements.

Please bump up priority. not just for mentioned purpose but even for gifting to parents would be beneficial (and should be legal) for short term gaining stocks.

Yes, beyond $60K in Vested is going to attract US estate tax in an unfortunate event of you passing away. Any taxable amount above this limit is taxed at progressive rates reaching up to 40%. So, this is no more a nice to have if your investment is gradually going to grow.

Only other way is to pull it back to India from Vested and maintain your investment always less than $60K.

So please make it a priority and implement it before users are hit with US estate taxes, and Vested is in publicity for wrong reasons!

Me too - +1
