I have recently started seeing the XIRR number in Vested. Can the team pls post a note on how this is calculated and what all is excluded and included?
I have attached a note below on how XIRR is calculated on Vested. Please let me know if I can provide further clarification on any other specific query for XIRR.
XIRR (Extended Internal Rate of Return) represents the annualized return on your investments held within Vested and is calculated across all asset classes, including US Stocks, Mutual Funds, and Managed Portfolios (Vests).
XIRR is computed at the end of each business day, so your latest transactions may not be reflected in the calculation at a particular time. XIRR calculations incorporate applicable fees on Vested and taxes withheld on investment income, such as dividends and securities lending income, to accurately reflect your net realized returns. The XIRR shown reflects only the performance of positions held within Vested and does not include any investments or holdings maintained outside the platform.
XIRR is annualized and may not reflect long-term performance for portfolios less than 1 year old.
Is this being rolled out in stages? Or where can we see it in the app?
@kazza This should now be available on the US Stocks Portfolio dashboard for the web app. For the mobile app, this will be rolled out over the next week in the latest release.
