So here’s my strategy that I have religiously followed from past 8 years.
I focus on a balanced mix of growth and income. My portfolio leans towards technology, healthcare, and renewable energy, but I also allocate about 20% to dividends for stable income.
My go-to tools are AlphaScreener by Vested, Bloomberg Terminal, Morningstar, and Finviz. I also dive into earnings calls, management transcripts, and macroeconomic reports to take shots accordingly.
Currently bullish on Microsoft and Nvidia for their AI and cloud dominance. On the ETF side, I like QQQ for tech exposure and VOO for broad-market stability.
I’m primarily long-term, focusing on companies with competitive moats and strong balance sheets. I rebalance semi-annually and use dollar-cost averaging to mitigate volatility.
Beginner Tip: Focus on understanding what you own. Don’t chase trends—invest in industries you believe in and can understand. Start with index funds like SPY to build confidence while learning.
I focus on tech, pharma, defense, and crypto sector companies. I analyze company fundamentals and review their last 3–4 years of reports. Then I look for right entry points using technical analysis.
Any specific stocks that you recommend @Viral. I was thinking to invest in Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN), Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) for defense, and Pfizer Inc. (PFE) for healthcare considering that they have significantly boosted their hiring and research R&D. Some top prominent names are with them. Looking at a long-term bet around 3 to 5 years.
