Unable to transfer money via ICICI bank

Hi
I’m unable to transfer money via my ICICI bank. It asks me to enter receiver account number while it auto populates the account holder name as drive wealth. Also next, it asked me to select company type such as public / listed or unlisted . The transfer is to account and I should have choice to choose any listed company within vested. Further also asking to choose exchange such as New York stock exchange? Why so many check points and how to transfer money from ICICI bank? I don’t get this using HDFC.

Hi @Raj_Upadhyay

Hope you had a great weekend. I am sorry you had to face such issue and I will try to answer each and evey query of yours here.

I’m unable to transfer money via my ICICI bank. It asks me to enter receiver account number while it auto populates the account holder name as drive wealth.

So, yes the end beneficiary is Drivewealth and it’s correct. We have already setup Drivewealth as out beneficiary for all customers using ICICI bank via Vested, so you don’t have to. Regarding your query on Account Number, you can go to this URL on your desktop - Login | Vested Finance

Once you are logged, in you will see “Beneficiary Information” and “Account Number” in this section. You can simply copy and utilise this number.

We do understand this is a hassle right now and we are trying to work with ICICI on a solution so that users don’t need to enter this manually and this is pre-filled.

Also next, it asked me to select company type such as public / listed or unlisted .

In this you have to select it as PUBLIC. Since as of now, Vested only allows you to invest in Public Equity. Any company listed on an exchange is a Public Company.

The transfer is to account and I should have choice to choose any listed company within vested.

That’s correct, it’s just a regulatory requirement from ICICI side and you can choose any company of your choice.

Further also asking to choose exchange such as New York stock exchange? Why so many check points and how to transfer money from ICICI bank? I don’t get this using HDFC.

Yes you can chose NYSE or New York Stock Exchange. We completely understand your frustration and are constantly in touch with ICICI to improve the journey. The limitation is really on the Bank side and we are more than happy to smoothen our journey for our users. Thank you.
