Last week I was transferring 2000 usd to my vested account and realised I have to pay 13k inr as some added amount. Did not realise this before. Is this normal for everytime we try to transfer money?

We haven’t seen this happen with many transactions. Whenever it happens, it is usually due to TCS, which is deducted by the bank over and above the actual remittance amount.
