FY 2025–26 Tax Documents are now available

Hi @Anurag_Cipher_846

Not a tax expert but from whatever i have read only the head of incomes where we have paid tax in foreign country will be present in FSI.

other sources HOI will cover both dividend and SLIP income.

US tax authority will not tax capital gains for non residents so we have to pay for it in resident country.

Please consult with your CA on this.

@Drashti_Vested @Viram_Shah

Any update on this issue. It is only dealying the tax filing process for us.

It is pathetic that from june 5th to till now as i type this the issue is not resolved.

As you are aware any misreporting to schedule FA can attract 10L penalty. Even with this you are not giving any update to the end users or any clarification over official channel.

Please don’t say like you are looking into priority without giving any update and just ghosting the pings.

@Drashti_Vested
I find gaps in what’s claimed in this post and how diligently tax reports are prepared by Vested.

Firstly A2 table is missing and I’m not sure about correctness of A3 as well and other sections as well.

Can you recommend what’s the metholdolgy used.

INDMoney provides A3 section as each transaction as indivudual entry which makes more sense and correct and unambigious

Thanks,

hi @Manoj9119

FSI means Foreign Source of Income. It should contain Dividend + Interest + SLIP under Other Sources column in the FSI Report given by Vested to us. I have cross verified it with IndMoney blog . Checkout the FSI and Form 67 calculations in the images. What I believe is that Vested Tax documents are quiet faulty and believing on them for filing the ITR could be problematic. I have now included interest income too with dividend income in FSI. But Vested lacks quality tax document is evident from FA A2 table missing data and FSI missing data. Do consult your CA though.

And my table A2 document is not available. Please provide, it is very urgent to file the taxes

@Drashti_Vested can you please reply to this? It would help a lot of other people too on the platform. I’m actually waiting for this to file my ITR

Sir, i think my team has already reached out to you.

My email Id is: dharmindra@gmail.com.
Me too haven’t got FA 2 table . Kindly provide and clarify on the platform

Yes, I received it. I do have a few important questions that I’d like to discuss. I believe the answers will be valuable not just for me, but for the entire Vested community in helping ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.

  • Schedule A2 Disclosure
  • My understanding is that Schedule A2 should disclose only the balance held with Vested (the brokerage/account balance) and not the entire underlying investment portfolio. Could we confirm whether this interpretation is correct?
  • Methodology for Schedule A3 Reporting
  • I would like to better understand the methodology used for populating Schedule A3 .
  • Vested currently provides consolidated entries for each stock , whereas platforms like INDmoney report individual transaction-level entries .
  • Could you clarify which approach is considered correct from a compliance and tax reporting perspective?
  • Need for Product-Level Clarification
  • Since Schedule FA reporting is a critical compliance requirement for users, it would be helpful if the Product/Compliance team could provide clear guidance on the rationale behind Vested’s reporting methodology and confirm that it aligns with the expected disclosure requirements.
