Imagine you’re the product manager of the Vested App for a day. What would you change or add to make the app better?
New features?
Better design?
Easier tools?
We’re all ears for your creative ideas or features that would make your life easier!
Chart tools, indicators.
Better UI though the new ui is nice.

I would like a toggle to quickly view my portfolio values in INR instead of USD.

I have quite a few suggestions to make.
I had a lot of issues with the earlier version. I did write a detailed email to the vested team. They certainly took note of my suggestions and few of the apprehensions were addressed.
Coming back to the latest version,
- at the Home Screen, the big greenish blue highlighted space has a ‘view more’ button. This does not reveal anything except a single additional line of ‘Total Invested’. Considering the liberal availability of space in the greenish blue space where an additional single line anyway can be accommodated, ‘View More’ button does not seem to make any difference.
A) A toggle similar to earlier version is given to select between Portfolio-watchlist and orders. There is a search option provided at the top which lets you find any stock and / or etf. With this a dedicated toggle search button in bottom Menu bar seems unnecessary. Also rather than providing toggle into toggle, the portfolio can certainly be adjusted within the main bottom Menu bar. Also a watchlist and order button can be added at the bottom. In watchlist section a separate Vest window can be fitted.
B) With this the bottom Menu bar can be Portfolio-Watchlists-Orders-Account.
C) As unlike Indian brokers, there would be limited direct transactions (through the app redirecting to bank page) that would take place, this can be sifted to Account section with Deposits / withdrawal sections.
3. Earlier version was showing the timer to end of the day’s session. This is available on web version, but has been removed from the app. This was a useful feature.
4. There are few other minor technical glitches such as the sort function does not return the desired results, the indices movement is not available once you enter the main page, etc.
Having said this, Vested is a great great platform and has a lot of great features. The latest version does provide an aesthetically pleasing interface. With my suggestions I do not intend to discredit the huge efforts put in by Vested team.

We plan to make more information regarding your portfolio available on the View More button, including the XIRR of your portfolio and more. Please let us know if there is anything else you would like to know about your portfolio that you find useful.

Thanks for this suggestion. We are always looking for ways to make the portfolio, watchlist and orders tab accessible to users, as they find them the most useful. We will try to accommodate the changes to simplify navigation, and we felt that providing all three of them on the first page would be more convenient. Agree that the number of deposits would be smaller as compared to Indian brokers, but we aim to simplify the process for accessing your funds, both for deposits and withdrawals, and have chosen to place this as a separate tab. We can move this to the Accounts section if we see that more users don’t find this useful.

We also loved the timer feature and have included this as an Easter egg ;). You can tap on the Market Open/Closed indicator on your portfolio to access the page.

We realize the importance of viewing index movements, and are working on making this easily accessible. Please let us know more information about the sort functionality, and we will have it fixed at the soonest.
As always, we love to build Vested for our users, and your feedback serves as a great motivator for us, and to help us understand what your needs are, so please keep them coming.

Hi @Vibhanshu_Gravity_34
I also often find myself pulling out the calculator app on my phone to convert my USD portfolio to INR . This is good feedback, and we will work on getting this implemented.
Hi @Akash_Vision_25
Thanks for your feedback .
What kind of tools and indicators do you prefer to view on the chart?
We provide Advanced Charts on our app accessible via the Stock Details page which should allow you to add indicators to your charts for all your technical analysis needs. Please let us know if there is something particular you are looking for, and we can help incorporate the same.
1)I would like the option of withdrawing my returns in USD bank account to save conversion.
2) For linking bank accounts with Plaid, there should also be micro deposit options. Other websites have it.
I also hold a USD bank account with GrabrFi which is a neo bank which is tied up with Regent bank. Hence micro deposits with Plaid can help.
Would want to see the value of portfolio in INR and a tax implication calculator

While using portfoli tab for US stocks when i press the ‘view all’ link at the bottom left to display my full list of stocks, all previous filters selcted earlier gets erased. I would like to retain them.
Similarly when i do buy_sell and come back to dashboard page, previous filters are reset babk to default…i do not like this inconvenience.
It would be very useful if we can see the qty. of shares in the Portifolio tab rather than clicking individual stock to know the same.
